Polish Dill Pickle Soup

 Yep, Polish Dill Pickle Soup.  It may sound strange to some, but it makes a pretty darn good soup   and is definitely something that is not your run-of-the-mill dishes for most Americans.  We tried the   recipe as written and were pleasantly surprised.  The only possible tweaks I might try the next time   I make it would be to either use some cornstarch to thicken the soup or to try to mash about half of   the potatoes in the hope of doing exactly that.  I would recommend trying it according to the recipe   below and then, if you wish, tweak it to your taste.
